DMX generated textures

The new texture generator content option for materials opens the doors to a new world of creativity. Generated texture content can be used in a number of scenarios involving luminous materials, such as:

• DMX dimming of a material's luminance (1 x 1 matrix single cell Dimmer mode).
• DMX control of a material's colour and luminance (1 x 1 matrix single cell RGB mode).
• DMX controlled decorative LED strips (1 x N matrix column of cells in RGB mode).
• DMX controlled LED matrices or star cloths (M x N matrix of cells in RGB or Dimmer mode).

The use of a generated texture is great replacement for adding and patching large numbers of decorative leds or when simulating internally lite perspex designs.
