laser control dmx
1119 4 - Started by Edwin, last post from Dominik Schwahn
In my capture 2020 project i hung some different laser fixtures. I control the fixtures from ETC nomad. I directly control the dmx addresses (so not choose a fixture from the etc library). So far I can only control the zoom of the lasers, not color, direction, image or any other parameter. I also tried it by using the fixtures from the etc library but this doesn&39;t make a difference.
Can anybody help me out. What do i do wrong
Thanks Edwin

Solo license, Plot dmx universes
715 1 - Started by Arrrian, last post from Vasilis Ziogas
Hi. I just got the capture 2020 solo license and from the seller (a reseller) it sounded as I was able to draw and plot/rapport as many dmx universes as I wanted but was only limited when it comes to the visualization part of capture. but I cant seem to put more then 1 universe in the reports.
For now I have no need to visualize with capture only make plots and drawings for the riggers and future refference. Is there possible to "plot/rapport" multiple universes with a solo license...

FOV DMX Control not working in Snapshots or Rendered Movies
943 4 - Started by mattoliver27, last post from Ringen
Hello, I rendered out a snapshot that I recorded in Capture. In the snapshot I had recorded some Camera movements, in addition to video and DMX. However, I noticed that when playing back the recorded snapshots, the FOV is not following the recorded values. I used the FOV to create a realistic "zoom" effect, but it doesn&39;t retain that information in rendered snapshots. Am I doing something wrong, or is it not possible for the FOV to be altered by DMX in a snapshot

More Snapshot FPS Please?
567 1 - Started by Christianjackson, last post from Vangelis Manolis
Is it possible to expand the FPS selection for snapshot recordings 25FPS just is not fast quick enough for some of the projects I am working on. The video renderings look choppy, especially with DMX movement with cameras/motion devices and video sources playing on LED walls/materials. It&39;s strange to me that 25FPS is an option, but not 40FPS (DMX framerate) or 60 FPS (max Capture framerate).
Is this something that can be implemented Right now my live rendering view is performing be...

Issue when launching Capture 2020
1087 3 - Started by FaustoB, last post from FaustoB
I am experiencing a problem when I launch Capture 2020 on Windows 10.
Since updating to 2020.0.42, anytime I click on the icon to launch Capture, a window pops up, asking me to install Capture. Since Capture is already installed, I I click on "no" and then Capture opens normally.
It seems like that Capture 2020 icon launches the installer.exe, instead of the application itself
It might not be it, but I am bit confused and never seen this before. What should I d...

Reverse engineering a C2P file?
604 1 - Started by jcoopertech, last post from Lars Wernlund
Hi,
I&39;m part of a virtual production working party at a leading educational body.
We&39;re creating a virtual theatre, which would integrate with Capture, and take info like beam-angles, and other fixture information, to help render theatrical lighting within Unreal Engine.
We&39;re thinking we can get most of the info we&39;ll need (generic lighting focus info) from the C2P file from Capture. Is there a document which descripes on a bit/byte level how the C2P file is constructed...
