REquest: Layer sets

If I set a layer to be invisible in a layer set, why does the geometry still block light Though the object is not visible
Let me know if I am setting something wrong! I'm just turing on and off the layer in the set, not messing with the 'affects light' setting.

Universe Crossover

Hello,
is it possible to crossover universes
i want to buy the solo-edition and i work in my location with ETC Eos/Nomad, i need max. 512 channels but it&39;s splitted in 2 or 3 universes, for example:
100 Channels in Universe 1
300 Channels in Universe 2
112 Channels in Universe 3
is this generally possible in capture
Is the restriction just 1 closed Universe or just max. 512 Channel independently the universe Nr.

MVR Focus positions

I am wondering if anyone has had success importing focus positions from VWX to Capture as an MVR.
I understand that the MVR file format is capable of transferring the focus information for conventional lamps (if present in original CAD file). I have been able to do so with a another visualiser but I&39;ve had no luck with Capture importing this info so far.

Any Private Contractors for Hire?

Hello all,
I work with a megachurch in North Little Rock, AR and we just bought capture to model out the stage in our sanctuary. I&39;m the lighting director, but me and my media director both have 0 experience with Capture and - even with tutorials - we aren&39;t confident in our ability to correctly get this done.
With that being said, is there anyone out there that does freelancing in this area Anyone that can do it all for us We have a time limit to get it done.

Fixture Patch - Check Overlapping Addresses

Is it possible to have capture check the fixture patch and show in red overlapping addresses or double channel numbers
This would be very usful when importing a MVR file that has fixture address info and double check that the patch is in working order.

Capture file icons are white !!!

Hi,
After upgrading to Big Sur, several months ago, and since then, all my .c2p files have lost their capture logo icons. After several Capture and OS updates, they remain white. I&39;m attaching some screen shots so you see what I mean.
Any ideas

Looking for Fixture or Comparable Model

I was trying to find any fixtures from MEANReal (specifically the Elf 100W Beam) but couldn&39;t find if it was a knock off of something in the library or if it just hadn&39;t been added yet. It is similar to a few things but not close enough to use for programming.
