Plots
3136 2 - Started by Jon, last post from Lars Wernlund
I have made some plots in the past and had to save them/print them straight away due to view changes.
is there a way, or could it be added, that once you create a plot and use the paper view to customise the symbols etc that I could then lock as one plot and any modifications I do in the paper view wouldn't affect that plot
Then i could create several custom views/plots without on affecting the other.

Details in Plot Headers
3159 3 - Started by Ian Harding, last post from Lars Wernlund
In 'Plots' it is possible to create a new plot and then insert a header.
Some of the fields such as Document name and Description can be edited from header properties. However a number of other fields are available on the header, which I have seen in Lars' videos as being filled in (Project, date, Client, Author etc)
How do I get to those settings so I can fill the extra pieces in
Ian

Pre-Made Shows?
3008 1 - Started by Cole Pierce, last post from Vangelis Manolis
Hello everyone, I am trying a new technique with our volunteers at the church to try and get them ready for some things they may see on the road. We often show up to a venue (with our own lights programmed) but find many lights that we would like to use already there. I was wanting to let them at it on Capture with random shows/venues/fixtures they may not be familiar with to try and get that idea across. Does anyone know where you can download some pre-made show files With or without fixtu...

Basic Hardware requirements
3374 4 - Started by JPV, last post from Vangelis Manolis
Hi everyone
I have a question concerning basic hardware requirements.
on the capture website, it is stated that capture should run fine on any current computer/laptop. But on the same page it is that that graphic card needs to pass the mentioned benchmark at 2000.
now it turns out that basically none of the current MacBook Pro / MacBook Air / iMac (except for the very high end ones) comes even near this mark.
can anybody explain that to me
thanks, Johannes

Synchronizing Live to Visualization
2879 1 - Started by Michael Davidson, last post from Vangelis Manolis
After mapping and modeling our rehearsal area carefully I am having a real hard time synchronizing the visualization to the real world. Mostly the moving heads. The areas I point to on the visualization are not accurate in the live setting. Can anyone shed any light as to how to make this more accurate

Fixture is in Library Folder but Not in Library Browse Tab
3404 3 - Started by Michael Davidson, last post from Vangelis Manolis
I can see a light fixture in the following folder:
\Capture Polar Student Edition\Library\_LightingFixtures\Blizzard Lighting\LEDs\The Puck Q12W.c2o
But it doesn't show up when I browse the Library tab when the program is open.
Would appreciate any direction on this. Also can fixtures be custom designed and input by user
Thanks.
