New Capture user needs help

Hi,
Iv just this second recently brought capture, iv used the demo a couple of times was wandering if i can get help with a couple of things
1: can i change the one of the views to show white as the background so i can see things more clearly
2. iv got a all the sizes of the stage im using this for, how can i draw this stage to scale in capture

Ground support symbols

Is it possible to add the most common used ground support symbols to the truss library.
At this moment there are only truss and boxcorner symbols but no ground stands or legs etc.

reference picture

if I want to model a room and use a picture for reference - any way to load it in so you can build against it as a reference -
I thought about making a cube and using the picture as a texture - however the resolution limitation on jpgs I think will make it difficult
ideas - or is there a way and I'm just missing it

Fixture orientation

Hi, can someone help with fixture orientation
How can i know if my fixtures are the correct way around For example if a festival tells me that all vl3500 washes are display Sr, is the display you see on the fixture correct to how it is in reality
Also, if you are told 'tails to sr' how can you know it that case unless you really know the fixture well

Fog, what should you see?

When you use fog should you be seeing clouds of smoke coming from the fixture like the real thing
I've tried using a fog machine but it really did'nt make any difference.

Problems with MAC 700 Profile

Hi, Slowly getting my head round using capture but very much liking it.
Im however having an issue with the mac 700 in my rig when you give them an intensity they don't give an open beam its always got a gobo even when you click the home button.
Any suggestions
