2.1.7 to HogPC 3 Connectivity.

Hello,
I am running the following;
HOG3 PC v3.0.4 (b 2468); and
Capture Polar v2.1.7; on
Windows XP SP2
When loading these two applications, running on the same PC, the Hog3 Connectivity application does not load.
I have had the same issue for the past few months.
I have re-installed windows over the top (without formatting), removed the contents of the Hog3 & Capture folders and reinstalled, I had the same issue.

Capture 2.1.7 repeat crash on OS X 10.5.7

Hi,
Capture crashes about every 4-5 min on my MacBook Pro running OS X 10.5.7. I tried running it with the on board graphic chip as well as the dedicated. No difference.
Here is the last crash report.
On a second note: whilst labeling layers typing 's' brings up the save dialog box. Is that the intended behavior

Hog3PC connection?

Has anyone gotten the Hog3PC offline editor to connect to Capture Polar I'm using the latest builds of both and reinstalled the Hog3 Connectivity package for good measure.
I think the network connection to the visualizer machine is good (it seems to talk with other apps), but the DP connection emulator never launches.

Fixture control without a console

I'm wondering if anyone else has thought about this.
When using Capture I can focus and colour my fixtures and set them at levels using the 'control' tab to create a look for Directors, etc to see.
But when using moving heads, scrollers, LED cans, etc I'm unable to select a colour, gobo, etc without having a console connected to the Mac.
Is there any way these controls can be added to the 'control' tab The ability to select colours on scrollers and moving heads and gobos in moving head...

Made a show with 4 varilites 4 explorers and on a gig I did a test but seems to me that I do something wrong or there is something wrong.
Had the 8 fixtures in a circle truss with all their displays looking inside.
So select group explorers and richtclick in the middle in capture. The capture showed me that the explorers are in one point on the dancefloor but the live situation was the otherway around. I had to rotate every fixture 180 degrees in capture. (for the capture display outside) Stra...

v2.1.4 Rotating in Paper mode

Hello,
Having read the release notes for v2.1.4 about the bug fix for rotating fixtures in paper mode I was suprised to find that I am now having more trouble with this than I was before.
If I select a fixture and try to rotate it, including channel and patch information, the channel/patch info moves away from the fixture as if the anchor was not centred over it. I cannot find a way anymore to just rotate the whole thing together.

A lot of work! You can give a distance, quantity but no angle.

Custom logo additions

Hi,
I 'm trying to implement a logo for a backdrop or wall.
So I make the logo .pgn with paint. (did that)
I go to materials and go to the design map -->folder materials right click at the folder materials and add new material. (did that)
I designed a wall with black box and now I want the imported logo on that wall..... I can't. The program will not do that.
Probably I made a mistake I can't drag and drop it on that wall.
