Turn On Annotation

I imported the plot via .dxf file and the data via Lightwright 4 from Softplot 10. I have been manually entering the fixture unit into the Selected Items Properties tab. In the top view in plot I see the unit, channel, and dimmer in very small type. It appears that these were imported as part of the dxf file since they are not enclosed in the annotation graphic shapes (the oval, rectangle, and circle). This leads me to conclude that the annotation function has been turned off. I have c...

Truss colors not working?

Hi Everybody,
is it correct, that I cannot color the trusses anymore in Capture 2018
The color field is there but the dialog for changing the color doesn't open.
Works in Capture Nexum.
Both tested on MAC with up to date Symphony Editions

Patching Causing Crashing

I'm having an issue with Capture 2018 where the program crashes when I try to patch. I tried making a brand new show file and have the same issue. Every time I try to patch into universe 3 the program crashes. I'm trying to patch Chauvet ColorBand PIX bars in 36 channel mode. If I try to patch all 5 along the ground, the whole computer crashes. Anyone else having similar issues

Sequencial patch issues

Hello, I'm trying to patch some fixtures using the sequencial patch fonction but it seem to have some issues. What I would like to obtain is to patch for exemple A.1, C.1, E.1 etc…The fixture have 30 DMX channels, so with the sequential patch command, I set the 'channels between fixtures' to 994. Then Capture prompt with the dialogue box that all univers A are full etc… After clicking contiune I ge the following patch:A.1, B.1, C.1 etc…Disappointing

Video problem on capture 2018

hi ,
i´m quite happy with capture 2018 but unfortunately unable to use video. it shows a non moving image and if i map to extens there is not even an image left. the projector shows no test image, ect. the video functions on my macbook pro /10.13.4 simply disappeared :( also the materials don´t care about the luminance. once i turn the light off it goes pitch black.
but maybe i just missed some settings.
i tried to attach my file and 2 screenshots to this message but no luck ...

Hog and Capture same computer

Has anyone else noticed issues with Hog and Capture 2018 v24.0.8 being on the same computer The last couple times I have opened both Capture and Hog on the same machine, Capture starts hating life. Sometimes it will simply freeze the program, other times I've actually had the whole screen go completely black and had to do a hard shutdown of the computer. The weird part is I have used the exact same show file on the same machine and it all worked flawlessly but now it's having serious issues.

Stage Deck in 2018

Are stage decks broken in 2018 In Nexum it created a deck with 4 legs. In 2018 it's just a flat surface with a void underneath... Loading a file created in Nexum (with the legged stage) in 2018 makes the legs disappear also.

Export and send presentation

(Nexum Symphony latest version)
I checked this export presentation thingy. Everything works fine on my computer (Mac)
If i send this presentation via mail or dropbox to the client, they couln´t open it.
Any Ideas

import from Vectorworks

Please advise - I am able to export model and data, except for the fixture drawing block, which displays as 2D rather than 3D. In VW DWFG export options, 3D settings are selected. Is there a 2D setting that should be deselected
