off Layers in Live View still apparent.

I have a layer which has a curtain on it which forms a front cloth for a show, and a differnet layer which is forming the set for another scene.
these are removed from a layer set so they are not 'visable' in the view. except that I see the shadow of the set on the floor, and the beams will not go through the curtain even though its not on display.
am I missing a setting to remove these completely from the view.

Projectors with short throw lenses

Hi all,Does anyone know of a projector in the library with the option of a 0.67:1 ultra short throw lens. I'm drawing for a job that is going to use Barco projectors with these lenses but I can't find any in the library that give me the option.(I have raised this query with Capture support as well).John

Couldn&39;t connect Magicq with Capture polar extended demo (same PC)

Hello everyone,
I'm new here on the forum.
A couple of days I'm exploring MagicQ and Capture Polar. (Amazing software!)
First I installed Capture Polar student version and MagicQ on the same PC it works all fine.
I can control the lights in capture polar with MagicQ.
Problem:
Now I installed Capture Polar extended (demo) version on my PC.
Everything is the same except the larger library and the program options.
Building stages works all fine!
But I couldn't connect anymore with M...

First of all you're doing a great job! This made my life as an (starting) lightengineer a lot better! :)
But now my problem: I wanted to control my show, in stead of dragging my ML's by hand. On the Prolight and Sound at Frankfurt i've discussed this with Lasse, who helped me on the way. (didn't thought this was possible with student version). So now i have the GrandMA on my computer (and Avolites, but can't get into systems to change IP), and want to connect it to Capture via ART-ne...

Polar Student addition

I recently downloaded the new student version I know there is more limited items, but i have 0 fixtures, 0 trusses, 0 filters, and all ihave is the stage items. please help I have installed abiyt 3-4 times even tried my older version nothing. i even erased all polar files from computer and reinstalled and nothing.

Perspective view in a plot

New to this so maybe I'm missing something...
I want to produce a plot with a perspective view. I insert the view, change the properties so that it is Perpective, can change the Layer set, so far so good. When I go to manipulate the view using the red arrows I can drag the angle of the camera around no problem but if I hold shift and drag to move the camera sideways it doesn't work, just starts selecting things.
Bug or am I doing something wrong
Running Capture 2.10.18 on Mac
