Vista Connectivity

I am trying to connect a vista I3 console to my Macbook Pro running capture basic. I have the 2 connected via a cat5 cable, however capture is not recognizing the console or DMX. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is there another program I need like a driver for the console

LED elements / brightness / contrast

hi 'captures',
i have some bad problems with the contrast / brightness options in the live mode. for my example (see below) i picked some martin ec-20 tiles and mapped a material (media - videoplayer) on it.
when the brightness is turned to 100 contrast / colors are going mad, as you can see. on the next pic brightness is turned to 1 and you can see that the video is alright. Funny thing about it: if i choose the orthographic perspektive the video is shown right.
so my question is ... wha...

Enttec Pro or no?

Hello. I have budgeted £60 for a dongle. I was going to purchase the ENTTEC USB to DMX dongle however I can only see support for the Pro version of the dongle, but I will not be able to stretch to this (at least in this years budget). Will the open version of the box work with Capture Solo version or do I need to purchase the Pro dongle

Editing Fixtures

Is there a way to edit the profile for a fixture I've found some issue with the ETC Source 4 Fixture profiles having an extra N/A address that doesn't exist in the fixture making a 15 address profile into a 16 address profile.thanks-Lowell

dwg tranform to fixture

Hi,I have imported a dwg file. I try to convert the selected block to a fixture.( I drag a movinglight on top off a dwg block ) When i do this the complete block disapears. Someone who nows.....Eddy

I often use borderless LED TV's like Samsung ue55a as video walls
there is no way to map video on multiple screens
could you please add this function or implement the Samsung borderless TV series to the media fixtures as it is possible to map media fixtures

no light output

So the program works perfectly on my laptop, thank for everyone who helped me set it up. I've installed it on a desktop that said it would have to basically have to dumb down the graphics due to the limitations of the graphics card. I opened it up and they weren't lying, it looked horrible. I unistalle it and then put it on another desk top that runs an Intel HD Graphics card. I didn't get that promt and the set and everything looked just like it did on my laptop so that made me happy. I then tu...

Connecting to the ION

I just made my show in Capture Extended. Came down to the lighting office and connected my computer to the ION with an ethernet cable. Brought up channel 1 on the ION and nothing happened. I tried using all the different Interfaces but I'm confused on how to actually make the ION work with the program. Figured the program out just fine but I'm really missing something here on how to get them to talk. I enabled 'out put' to a visualizer and also have the loop back adapter going as well. Thanks
