Laptop Graphics card?

I am looking at upgrading my laptop to run Capture
can you tell me if a Nvidia GeForce GT 525M will be good enough to run polar graphics
or can you advise a specific laptop graphics card you recomend

I have a mac and a windows machine. The mac has capture student and the windows machine has the hog 4 running. Can I send the DMX over the network to capture student on another computer if so how do i do that

Graphics card issue - switchable card

Dear Capture team / users
If any one can help on this I will buy them a drink (of their choice, when next I see them)
My laptop has an Nvidia GeForce 310m deicated 512MB graphics card.
but it also has a switch to intergrted intel graphics mode.
When I open capture in High performance mode (ie Nvidia card running) I get told that my graphics card is not capable.
I then look in help and see that everything is a Pass
But when I run in low graphics (ie intergrated graphics mode) I d...

Patching Scrollers, etc

I'm new to Capture so I'll be asking lots of questions like the ones following.
How does one patch a scroller I've attached one to a par and would like to address it in the 2nd universe. Par-C1/D1 Scroller-C100/D1 (U-2)
Does anyone know how to attach an I-Que to a fixture Unlike scroller which attaches, becoming one with the fixture, I cannot get an I-Que on a fixture, has to be placed in front of fixture and doesn't work with the fixture, any thoughts BTW, trying to attach to ETC S4 19 d...

lost of performance

Hi; i work on a show with pixel line 1044 in mode DMX 54 ch. i have 16 bars and try to made an effect of dim from a grandma2. and as soon as i start the effect the live view play with jerk.
I run it on a mac pro with os 10.8 (Graphic card is quadro 4000)
any ideas

Multi Channel conventional fixture. Coda3

I'm using a Strand Lighting Coda 3 fixture. this has 3 channels. The fixture lets me add the three colours ok.
I can patch and allocate the first channel to the fixture but cant see how to add the second and third channels to the patch.
can someone advise please. Sorry if this has been asked before but a quick search didint show a result

LED Brightness

Hi,
Is there any way to adjust the brightness or NUITS for a fixture. I was programming a show at weekend for GK and my Chauvet Colourpix bars where at full on Capture and looked very dimm, yet when it came to show had to adjust all the shapes to reduce the brightness too just 10 to get it to match up with the level in capture.

Plot Symbol

I don't seem to be able to change the plot symbol any more, I'm sure it used to be possible but can't seem to be able to do it now.
I've tried to change in the properties of the fixture in both CAD and Paper views and the option is greyed out in both. I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong or if it's not possible any more
