Capture EXE file

Hi Guys,
Been using windows to save the exe files but they will not run on any other machine.
Once placed on a new machine they seem to do something when double clicked but then stops.
They run ok on the machine they were created on.
Any ideas

Video capture cards / devices

Is there a way of getting Capture Polar to recognize a video capture device, under the Video Tab, so that I can input live 'video' onto a material mapped surface
I'm trying to stream content from a media server into Capture and this particular media server does not support CITP. I am currently using Capture Polar on a windows 7 laptop and the video device is an Epiphan USB box with the standard drivers from the manufacturers website.
Could be a useful feature if able to be implemented. If ...

About to change computer! and runs Polar extended!

I am a extended user and i am about to change computer,
I think it vill be a Macbook Pro 15' with a intel Graphics HD 3000.
Will Polar run on this Machine
Is there some minuses with this machine
What will you recommend me to buy
I want to get as nice live-pics as possible, because i often draw a pic of how the show CAN look, and send it to our customer along with my prices.

thx for providing a student version of capture, this is really great!!!!!
i cant tell how much i apprechiate the support from you!!!
its already installed and runs perfect!
the only thing that isnt working is the connection with the chamsys system!!
i already have installed the demoversion: capture is receiving data correctly and everythin is running!!!
if i switch to the student version nothing is happening!!
in the universe window, there isnt even a status for art net.

Capture exit problems

Issue with Sequential Channel & Patching

Hello,I have not needed to use Capture since prior to v2.6, so I am not sure when this issue/change may have occurred. I am inclined to think it is more of an issue/bug however, as opposed to a change in the way Capture operates....or at least I hope so!In the past, I would draw all my fixtures and then if I wish to assign sequential channel numbers, I would hold down control and select my fixtures in the order I wish. I would do the same for patching, prior to dragging them to the patch windo...
