Hi, I was wondering how exactly grouped objects and location would react to each other.  If I import a piece of truss and copy it like 3 times to build my Lx truss, group them and then assign a Location name in the propertie field ,as 'Lx1' for this example, the Location report show me the 4 piece of truss as it should. When I attach fixture to this group of truss, those fixtures are not reported in the Location report. I have to ungroup the Trusses and then assign to eaxh of them a Loc...

New System I have inherited a system at my new job. The venue has a SmartFade 2496. The board has not been used much because no one knows how to control it and the original programmer is long gone. I have included a screenshot of 3 curved surfaces to which I am trying to map a texture to but having no luck.  The flat surfaces are just fine using the map to extent feature but for the curved sections, I am at a loss as to how to make the texture fit accurately. Yes, the textures sent over NDI to the material used are of the correct proportions/aspect to the physical surface in the model.  If anyone has managed to do this I would love to hear how.

Hi  I am tryring to do a 'circuit' Report, I have assing the circuit to the fixtures thrue the ' sequential' menu, the settings is:  Prefix: HOT X. (X is the number of the multicabel running from that truss) (the . is my way to do a sepration between the name and the number on the plug) Start is set to: 1 and continues from 1-6. what I then want to do is making a report that shows me how much power is Multicabel a using fx. Hi ! when rotating objects, especially from different layers, I often face the question : do I need global rotation of the selection or rotation of each of the elements (an option that exists for example in Adobe Illustrator) Eg if I import a dwg file into Capture and wish a side-view of it, I always have to turn the plan in x,y,z axes and move it in order to have it properly aligned on Alpha, Beta and Gamma view. Hi, I'm trying to do some custom fixtures symbols. But the 'solid color' don't apply to them in paper mode. On the standard symbols library, it's working great. Am i missing something

Hi, I've just tried to import a dwg file into capture and it has both plan and section details but when I try and select the sections to leave me just the plan it selects all the layers and I can't find a way to 'explode' them. I've opened the file in Sketchup and tried to alter things in there but when I import that it has put all in one layer and is only selectable as a whole. Any help Thanks, Simon
