Using fabric in designs
3137 1 - Started by Deleted User, last post from Lars Wernlund
I am wondering if there are any tips for drawing fabric in a design. I have some fabric pieces that are 60' x 4' and want to drape them across the ceiling and then down a wall. I will then light them with LED fixtures. Just looking for tips on how to draw that. The fabric is semi transparent so I will light it from the top so the fixtures are not seen.

Hi.
Is there any way to draw a standard chair
Can`t find it in the lib.
I just need to finish one of my projects, but musicians need to sit somewhere :))
Already wrote an email about the library, but sadly no response... that`s why I`m trying here :))
Regards, Przemek

Morning all!Has anyone created audience seating in capture...either single seats, rows or blocks of raked seatingIf you have and would be happy to share your work, I'd be very grateful if you could extract seats to a separate file and fire it over, or make it available to download somewhere.Cheers

Turn gobo around?
7759 6 - Started by nigelj, last post from nigelj
Hi again! (sorry, there'll be loads of questions over the next few weeks as I get into Capture!)Is there a way to turn a gobo around in its fixture I don't mean rotate it (I know how to do that); I mean like taking the holder out and turning it back to front.I'm using 2 Rosco Street 78027, 1 on each wall (L and R)...as the image is drawn with perspective, on 1 wall the image is correcty receding away from the stage; on the other it's growing as you get further away!Cheers, Nige

Trees!

Hi all,I just bought Capture Solo yesterday...I'll be using it for visualisation of amateur theatre shows. I have to start on my first show next week (our Pirate pantomine!). I've drawn the stage itself...now to the scenery...2 main pieces of scenery I'll need to include in Capture for this show are a ship's deck, and an island with palm trees. I'll make the ship's deck out of various shapes with ship's deck texture, but I have no idea if it's possible to draw a combo of objects to simulate the ...

Motion Controllers
4287 2 - Started by Jon, last post from Lars Wernlund
Hi Guys,
I have been trying out Motion controllers and although I understand them is there a better guide in how to use them correctly. I've not needed them before but now it would be very useful.
I have been using the DMX mover.
If I set the range to 10m on all axis I can move the object 0-10m. However is there a way to be able to move -10 to 0 to 10. if that makes sense. So where I place the object then attach a motion controller 0,0,0 is where the object is placed so it can only move ...

Plots and paperwork

Loving all the new features in Capture Polar, but not really gtetting the plot features yet. Specially how to change direction and colour of a fixture in a plot. If I put a view into a plot, but now want to make one fixture a different colour or change the direction of it to make it more clearly(but not change the focus in my live view), how do I do that. Maybe its time for a new tutorial on plots...
Thanks
