Rotating Objects

You can do this by selecting an object and using the Ctrl4 view, which turns the view so it matches the rotation of the selected item. But a rotate object would be cool too.

You could select the fixture and use the Swing to Selection camera command to align the view with the base of the fixture and then rotate it along its axis. It will not work if you have lots of fixtures in different orientations though.

No I've also encountered this problem. Swing to selection only lets you rotate a fixtures pan, not the tilt. Then you would need swing to selection section (or something similar)

The command swings to the "nearest" of six possible views. If you first place the view roughly at the correct location and then activate it you can get the section view you're looking for!
