A more realistic visualization of prisms in beam fixtures, which includes a wider angle, the ability to merge multiple prisms, and the ability to visualize prisms that has more facets than 8.

Capture is already able to do all of the above, except combining multiple prisms. However, it relies on us have accurate prism data from the fixture manufacturer. When we don't, there's not much we can do.

    Hello,

What I forgot to mention in "visualizing prisms with more than 8 facets" is that some fixtures (ex. Clay Paky Sharpy) cannot visualize prisms with more facets than they were initally assigned to. I wanted to change the prism in order to have a wider angle range, but they don't work. It may work with linear prisms, but prisms that have more facets (i.e. 16 facets, 32 facets, 8+16+32 facets) do not work on these fixtures.

On the matter of a wider angle range for prisms, I noticed that when I began using Capture 2024, prisms for beam fixtures became significantly narrower.
