    Hi,

Is there a way to get blue satured lenses? (Titan Tubes, Color Strike, Pixyline, etc...)

I tried ton tweak view tab but no success

    RGB Saturation Capture

Red and green color are working perfectly but blue is always unsatured. Which is not very efficient for a client presentation.

    Thanks

You could try to set the white balance to a higher value. I usually set mine to 4500K, but that results in any light that is cooler than 4500K to look a bit bluish and anything under to appear warmer. The default is around 6500K (if I am not mistaken), to match the base color temperature of most moving heads. It is also quite close to daylight. I hope this helps.

Sorry, read lower, instead of higher in the first sentence!

PS. I wish I could edit a post...

Sure 6500 K is default camera white balance, as each computer monitors should be.
But if I tweak color balance, it changes other colors obviously.
I’m afraid this « blue issue » is an capture engine limitation.
Hope they’ll propose a feature about that asap.

As I understand it, the white balance is adjusted on a virtual camera that is looking at your stage.
It does not affect color, only the color temperature.
The fact that your blues are not punchy enough could be due to the fact that the fixture you are using has a blue led with this particular wavelength. Have you compared it to the real fixture yet?
Capture always tries to stay as close to reality as they can. If you see room for improvement and you have the fixture at hand, you can always send the library department your comments.

What do you mean? it affects only white??? But you advised to tweak the color temperature to get more blue…

Sure I use these products almost every week since a while (astera TitanTube / Hyperion / Helios for example). And I could guarantee there’s a real led blue on them.

I’ll try to talk with library developers as you mentioned.
    Thanks

Color temperature changes the white balance, the cooler (= higher degrees Kelvin) you set the base color temperature the warmer (more reddish) the overall image appears. The warmer (=lower degrees Kelvin) you set the base color temperature the cooler (more blueish) the whole image appears. Tint on the other hand affects the green and magenta shade of the image. The latter is not adjustable in Capture.

So if your color temperature was set to a very high value by mistake, it could even be that pure blue parts of an image get to be corrected to almost white.

I'm not sure I understand what you're after and the link to Flickr appears broken.

Could it be that you're looking for the view's "Hue clamp" option?
