    Hi everyone,

I'm a laserist using Pangolin Beyond, and I'm looking to program using bounce mirrors in Capture 2024 Visualizer. While browsing through the forum, I came across some posts from several years ago where the developers mentioned that this feature was challenging to implement and there wasn't a solution at that time.

I am following up to see if there have been any updates or progress on this feature. Has there been any movement on the development of programming with bounce mirrors in Capture 2024?

That being said, I've noticed some fixtures in the library that are labeled as mirrors, such as the CLS Mirror Panel, Chroma-Q Moving Mirror, and the Varytec Hero Mirror. Does the inclusion of these fixtures mean that mirror options are now available? If so, could someone guide me on how to activate and use this feature?

    Thanks!

There is no support for light beam reflections in capture. The fixtures you mention that are mirror heads simply represent the fixture as a moving head, they have no functional mirror aspect.

While they have implimented a reflection pane, this is just a surface effect, rather than full path-tracing of light beams.
