Hey there, Ive got a little Proble while im trying to extract some objects from one Project to a other. Im really new with this programm so it could be just some stupid fault on my side... This is what im doing: 1. got the first Project open and click on "Extract Project" 2. Other Project Opens as supposed 3. Drag the Objects i want to extract with the red arrow button from the first to the second project 4. Programms asks me if i want to place the object there or at the original Position (i tried both) 5. i save and close captur polar 6. Open the second Project but the Objects ive extracted arent there. Tried it serverals times now and cant find the problem, would be very gladfull for some advise Best regards Wusa PS: Sorry for my bad english

    Hi Wusa,

I can't think of any reason it should behave like this. Is this with the latest version of Capture? The only situation something similar might happen was if you owned the Basic Edition and extracted imported objects. These would then be lost on save, although you would get a warning about it.

You could e-mail me the file you're trying to import at support@capturesweden.com.

What i don't understand is: - you open the project 1 - click on extract: this openbs prject 2 - extract objects from project 2 - save projects: this saves PROJECT 1 - close capture - you should open PROJECT 1 again

    Hey there,

Like i said it could be a stupid mistake on my side, and so it is.

Luc is right i did it the wrong way around. I was confused because this function is more like importing, because you import something from a other Proect into the actual one - instead of extracting something from you actual project into a other.... So im sorry for that

So now the importing/extracting works fine, but got followed directly by a other problem....

The programm tells me that the Objects i extracted belong to a higher Version of the Prog and cannot be saved, although i allready got the newest Version (Solo version btw.)

The objects i would like to extract are some Stage props which i found in the OpenAir ProjectSample on this site (amp, beer bottlesand monitor) Maybe theres something special about them ?

    Thanks alot for your help,

    best regards Wusa

Well i guess those Stage props are DWG, 3DS or OBJ files, so the importing on them isnt a feature of my solo version, so it should not work and isnt a fault by the programm.

So there would be nothing to help me about anymore ;-)

Thx anyway, and sorry for my confusion.

    Regards Wusa
