Hi,

Kimble is right. This console outputs DMX only, so you will need something to convert it to a network protocol (ArtNet for instance) or the EntTec DMX USB Pro.

Lars, thanks for the assistance!

So I'll just to need to connect an Obey Chauvet 70 to the Enttec DMX USB PRo DMX IN, then USB OUT to my laptop running Capture Polar??

Capture polar should detect it? Or is there some process within Capture Polar to detect the controller?

Yes, that's what you need to do - and install the DMX USB Pro drivers of course. But then it should all play!

Lars, read that my mac 10.8.2 should already have the drivers for the dmx usb pro by enttec...so I just plugged and capture doesn't pick it up :/ How do I troubleshoot? Can't find any tutorials online anywhere on how to use my obey 70, enttec and capture.

Hi Rom,

Could you send the log file to us?

- Click on the desktop (activates Finder)
- Go to the menu, choose Go / Go to Folder..
- Write ~/Library/Logs and click on Go
- Send us the Capture.log file to support@capturesweden.com

lars,

any update why I can't just plug and play with my obey hardware controller and the enttec usb pro? Reason I'm following up is because, if the issue can't be resolved next week, I'll return the enttec box to get a refund. I don't see any other way of using the enttec box with my chauvet obey 70 at the moment.

Thanks and I really look forward to learning more about capture polar.
