    Hi

Firstly, let me explain my setup. I am using a highend PC for visualizing and want to set up my Macbook running Parallels to do the CAD side of things on site.

I have installed Capture on both now, with the PC being activated and fully working.

My Mac however has errors. "Could not initalize translation support"

I have had a quick look at the file structor of both system and cant see any difference.

However, when I look in the session log, I see that its trying to load the translation from:

    C:\Porgram Files\Capture 2005\\Languages\English.xml

    Note the double backslash.

I think this is why I am having problems (could be completly wrong here). Has anyone else had these problems, if so have you fixed them and how?

I would install bootcamp but it will not work due to the way I set my harddrive up.

    Cheers

    Hi Mic

First of all. You can't run capture on parallels! It takes to much time to open a showfile or see anything.

I'm working only with Bootcamp and this is working good. I don't use the english language only german and haven't any problems like you have. try to change the translation under options and see if it works with a different language. If yes, this must be the error with backslash i think.....

Well bootcamp wont install on my macbook for some reason.

I shall take to an apple store ASAP to get them to look into it, and then install Capture again.

    Cheers
