Hi, I'am looking to buy a new deskop or laptop (desktop replacer). Just wondering if someone has experience with current graphic cards. Maybe compatibility issues on ATI or nVidia cards. Don't know what capture prefers. In laptops I see nVidia GTX675m GTX680m or ATI 7970m. In desktops the same but then not de "m" version. As cpu in mobile devices the i73630quad is mostly found in desktop maybe i5-2500k. Any recommendations on cpu or gpu? All info is welcome!

    Hi Eclipse-team,

The following site provides invaluable insight into graphics card performance:
    http://www.videocardbench...t/high_end_gpus.html

To make a long story short: you can go for a standard desktop machine fitted with the GTX 670 or 680, or spend a larger amount of money on a laptop that is probably only a third as fast.

Yes - stick to NVidia. :-)

Hi, Bought new hardware but now I have an internal graphics card and GTX680. only problem is that I think the Capture is using the internal card and not the Nvidia 680. Any idea where I can change that setting? I don't see anything in capute. So I suppose I need to do this in Windows. Regards, Kevin

There is a setting in Nvidia control panel under 3d settings where you set which card each application will use. You will have to set the capture.exe to use the GTX680. If you don't find it right away i will post a screenshot of it when i open a system with nvidia.

Hi, Found the window. I see a lot of configuration options in the 3D settings. Any recommendations for those settings? Regards, Kevin

nope, leave them to auto and simply select the GTX graphics card for use with capture.exe
