Hi, i'm actually looking at purchasing capture in the next day or so. However i have heard that capture doesn't support ethernet loopback feature enabling programming from lighting desk software on the same machine as capture. Could someone confirm or deny this. Thanks

I can confirm you that it works on PC. We have MagicQ PC running on the same PC as Capture Polar. There is no network cable connected to the network card. Microsoft Loopback adapter is installed and it works.

Dear Lampy,
In plain terms the loopback adapter simulates a network connection for windows which means that once you enable it capture sees that simply as a network connection through which it can connect to consoles on the same pc. Just install it and you will see for yourself that it works right away.

Hi,
The Mac doesn't feature a "loopback adapter" in the same sense, but you should be able to get it working.
