In the Library file-system, I would like a folder to open when I double-klick it. As they do in windows

    Hi Viktor,

You will be pleased to learn that I just fixed that for you. It will be part of the 1.21 release!

    Hi Lars,

    That´s a fast response. Wonderful!

Shall we continue this thread? OK

When I change a value in a box (ex. design tab-view beta-ambient light),I will most likely want to change it again to find the perfect setting. How about letting the box be selected until I click outside it. (ie pressing enter activates the new value but doesn´t deselect the box.)

    Hi Viktor,

Haha.. I see I got you going now.. ;-)

I'm not sure this is possible because the return stroke is also used as verification of correctly entered expressions. But maybe it could be done. Or using another key or something.. need to think..

I might have the solution to that. As it is now, you need to double-click a field to make it want to receive input. Try changing it so that the field is "receiving" as soon as it is selected/blue. This way, enter will still veify the "blablacorrectprogrammingthing" and the field will be ready for new input right away. Or you just press "arrow down" or "tab" to edit the next field. No need to reach for the mouse throughout the whole "defining your settings"-session.

In the fixture-list, I would like a column where I can describe where the lamp is aimed (ex. solospot guitar or mona lisa-drawing)

How about adding a dimmer-control to the property-icons of a selected fixture?

Well, next time I will take a closer look before I start adding meaningless posts to the forum. Sorry about that!

    Hi,

Just having the dimmer control there is a bit limiting, but we have discussed moving the entire control panel into the live views somehow. It would solve the issue of being able to control fixtures while working fullscreen.

    Hi Lars,

Another way would be to introduce the "highlight-function".

ex. setting highlight in view beta to 70% would turn fixtures in that view to 70% when they are selected.

(Perfect for focusing. I would use this together with all other fixtures at 10% when focusing generics in an exhibition.)

    Greetings

    Viktor
