hey folks, i know that this topic pops up from time to time, but still i have some problems ... i`m still pretty much disappointed about my "render-pics" in live mode. it even looks worse than sd-quality, although i maximize the live view. i`m working on a i7 windows pc with a brand new nvidia quattro graphic card in 1080i resolution. is there a chanche that i can better results? for those who want to have a look: download.sebastian-morsch.de/temp.jpg ... and no, working on wysiwyg is NO OPTION :) . thanks for your replys.

Hi bmp_music, You say that it "looks worse" than SD quality, but in order to help you out here I will have to ask you to be more specific exactly what qualities of the images you are disapointed about!

hi lars, did you have a look at the image (downloadlink)? you can nearly see every pixel, especially on the pillars and the projection. my monitor is workin´ in full hd and i suggest that capture renders in another solution? and what about the light progress on the walls left/right and ceiling? you can see every greyscale an not a smooth color gradient. maybe there is something wrong in my grafic adjustments?! thanks so much :) .

Hi, Yes, I have taken a look at the image. The fact that you can see all pixels at the edge of the pillars has got nothing to do with the resolution though - smoothing these our would require antialiased rendering, which in fact means rendering at a higher resolution than the screen - at the moment this is not part of our implementation plan, but we'll keep it in mind. I am not sure what you mean by light progress on the left/right though - could you encircle it in the image please?
