Exporting data to CSV - How to sort columns?

    Hello, I'm just learning to export data from a Capture project to a CSV file, so I can start patching large shows quickly. My question is, when I export a CSV file, I cannot seem to get it to sort by fixture type (so all fixtures of one type appear together, all Atomics then all Vipers then all Auras, etc). Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks! - GRAHAM

    Hi synapse_gh,

    The data export feature doesn't allow you to sort the data in any way. You could look at it as a raw data export intended for transfer to other systems - in which case sorting won't matter. If you're looking to create a patch list then I recommend using a Fixture Report instead!
