    I'm running 2.10.18 in windows 7 on a bootcamp mac mini so I can use the hog 3 plugin. When I use live mode I get black squares over the lights that are pointing vaguely at the camera. I realise this is probably not a capture issue but a hardware/driver one but was looking for an idea of whether I could solve it or not?

    I, too, have the same problem on one of my machines and it is definately a graphics card/memory issue as my other, more powerful machine works just fine. Do your black boxes black out the light beams? As I rotate views the light beam dissapears and the black box grows. Hopefully a better graphics card and more memory will take care of it.

    Hi,

    Interesting - here's a few things I'd like you to try (by their own) and let us know what happens;
    - Turn off the Bloom effect
    - Zoom out a bit
    - Reduce the brightness

    I think it comes down to precision issues on the graphics card, being triggered by "large illumination values".
