Please make sure you have the latest library installed and then once you have used the vl5 in your show select them and go to the project window, the design tab and under the selected item properties you will find the second dmx controller which you can patch independently from the main dmx controller. Patching at this point takes place by typing in the address you want and not by drag and dropping onto a universe.
