I happen to be a new user of capture and seem to be having issues. I am taking an independant study at the University of Memphis under the support of My lighting Professor John McFadden. When I open a project I usually get one of my views in a red wireframe. When the view is red, I no longer have controll of that particular view. My other two views seem to be responding and if I restart the file it usually becomes normal after the second or third time. When I bring in an outside drawing and I try to save the drawing it will not be saved, but the fixtures will be. We are supposed to have the full edition of Capture and it seems like I only have demo privlages.

    Hi liteguy4560,

Your first issue with the red wireframe sounds like a graphics card driver issue. I would recommed trying to get a driver upgrade before moving on with that!

Regarding saving a project file containing imported objects, that is a feature of our extended edition. If you are using the basic edition you can still import objects, so that you can evaluate the functionality, but it will not let you save such objects. Usually, in a setup with our education licenses, the license is the Extended edition one so it's not an issue. I will investigate why you have only a basic edition!
