Hey guys. I found that you can download a free software called Blender. - http://www.blender.org - All you have to do is export your Sketch Up file as a collada and then import it into blender as such. Then immediately export directly from Blender back out as a .obj file and bam. Good to go. It's a bit of a process but well worth it in perspective to the cost of buying Sketch Up for only the export function.

    Dear Darien!

It was a pleasure meeting you in LDI and I am thankful for your posting here as discussed.

To all basic/extended license users who don't own SketchupPro/AutoCAD/3dMAX/etc... the solution described above will allow you to create drawings in the free Sketchup version , export them as collada, and import these in Blender. Then you can export as .3ds or .obj and import into Capture.

If you were ever in need of such a solution, definitely worths giving it a try!
