    Hi,

    I´m new to this forum and software so I appologize in advance if this is answered before (couldn´t find it) or painfully obvious.

    I plan to run midi-triggered lights for my band´s shows. We have our backtracks on Cubase so would program it there. We would use this: http://response-box.com/g...-midi-to-dmx-bridge/ to get the dmx to our lights.

    My question is what interface do I need to bring the dmx into my computer with Capture Polar for visalisation during programming?

    Preferably something affordable, compatible and stable.

    Hi,

    What you want is a devices that takes DMX in and either connects directly with USB to the computer running Capture or over Art-Net / ethernet. There's a few options available from EntTec that you might want to consider, http://www.enttec.com. Capture supports the DMX USB Pros and anything Art-Net.
