local connection between Mac and Windows (virtual machine)

    Hi,

    I have installed on my Mac capure Polar 2:11:22 and on the same Mac, Parallels Desktop 9 with windows XP.

    On the virtual machine I work with MA2 on PC and on the Mac I have Capture working as visualizer.

    My problem is that I can't connect the MA2 on PC and capture...

    Can you help me with the correct procedure to do that??

    It is possible to work in this way?

    Hi,

    If you are using MA2 OnPC version 2.9 then it will not work without MA hardware present because of limitations added by MA Lighting to prevent this. With hardware present, or when using 2.8 or lower, it should work fine, give that you've got the network settings correct. We recommend using the "bridged" networking setting when doing this.

    Hi Lars -

    its been a while since ive used MA2 on PC - is it still the case that i need some MA2 hardware to be able to connect to capture polar?
