It would be nice if there was a log when the library file was updated and what the updates included to know when one needs to update the file. Updating all the time is a bit of a time waster if nothing has been updated.

    Hello both,

There is a regular update every afternoon that includes the library progress of a full working day of a whole crew of library developers. That includes new items but also revisions of old. It would be very time consuming to document this amount of daily work, so we prefer to allocate that time in getting the quality better. It worths stressing the fact that such a document would consist of many technical pages that noone would bother to read through or keep track of. So in order to answer your question of when you should update here is our opinion.

You are receiving the latest library update every time you update to a newer version of Capture, so unless you miss something from the library or is not working as it should you don't need to download these regular updates. Now, in case you miss something first download it to be up to date with our work as of today and if you still have a request just mail us at library@capturesweden.com and we will be happy to assist. Then once we have served your request in usually 1-3 working days we notify you to download the update that addresses your issue, without worrying anyone else.
