Hi all I have had issues with the materials showing up in live mode. For example I have opened the club file on several occasions and only once were the "actors" color as opposed to everything being grey. It was nice to adjust their clothing and skin tones as well as being able to see the brick wall. Then the next time I opened it up everything was greyed out again. Any idea on how to view these again? I tried every view and still nothing. Thanks

Anyone? I have students working on final projects and it would be great to have this answered for them soon. Thanks!

    It works ok for me.

Are you sure you have the view in Live mode and not just CAD perspective/ortho?

Yea I do. I also tried every single view combination I could possibly do and nothing. Like I said before, I was only ever able to view the materials/edit the color of the people and instruments one time. Very strange.

So the problem you have is that you can't see the colours and materials you applied when in the Live view, or that you can't edit the colour or materials of selected objects?

What do you mean by greyed out? Are you talking about the object properties in the design window or the object as it appears in one of the view windows?

Actually both. I'm using the Club scene that came with capture. I can't see the brick wall texture, the rug under the drums, and the people and everything else in the scene are just grey. I tried to add materials to the scene and they don't show up either. Thanks

I just downloaded the Club project from the Capture website and everything seems to be working ok for me.

Have you tried opening a new instance of this project, freshly downloaded from the website? Do you have the same problems in other projects? Do you have the same problems if you create a new simple project with one actor and one wall?

Same problem in all projects. Its odd because my actors and scenery never had materials show up until once last week when I opened it they were there. The program then crashed after I was cloning some lights. When I went to open it again the "magical" materials were gone again. Thanks

If all projectfiles have the same problem I would try updating the graphicsdrivers and install the latest software again
