It sounds as if you have the key file installed, but not unlocked!

i have the same issue everything was working fine however did the update to the latest version and now cant save, have trie4d activating over the internet but that fails and software does not generate the correct license key for doing it manually.

cant save anything, this is on a macbook pro running yosimite

just to add to this when i try and activate my license online i get this message weather its argo or polar

In order to assist others that might read this thread, Steve Harris's problem was resolved when we discovered that his Mac had lost its serial number and they were able to help him recover it in the Apple store.
