    I'm adding my own material and want to "map to extents". The option is greyed out so I can't make my materials look the way I want on the objects. Any help would be great as to why I can't get this to work. Thanks

    You propably tried to do it in the Perspective view. Try it in the Top, Side or front view, then it will work.
