    How can I edit objects from capture?

    Problem: I have several stage decks which are irregular shapes! Can I export objects from capture to some program? (preferably free) to edit them and then import them back into capture? are these .obj files?

    Is there any detailed explanation anywhere?

    Hi,

    If you have the Extended Edition then you can export models through DXF and DWG for editing in other software. The built-in dynamic shapes in Capture are not stored on disk at all, they are generated by the software on the fly.

    Sorry I need some more detail about where to find the files and/or how to export them. Is there a detailed guide on the forum?

    I received an PM saying that I couldn't export the stage sections is this correct?

    I have the full version.

    Sorry I am a bit of a noob when it comes to this stuff.
