Why am I having trouble simply changing the color of a form? Used to be just an item in the properties and now I can't find that setting anywhere. What is going on here??? This another MUST ASAP!

    Hi,

In Capture Polar, the color of an object was a property of the object, just like it's material. This didn't make much sense, so everything that is related to a material is now part of a material, including transparency. All you need to do is create a material with the desired color!

To me, that just seems like an extra step that requires a separate program, wasting more time. I'd like to officially request that feature be added back in. That feature made it so much more convenient for creating quick, colored forms and could be any color in the rainbow much faster than opening a separate program, hoping you created the right color, saving it as a new file, creating a material and then applying. Wow, that's a lot of unnecessary steps.

Just one persons opinion but I highly doubt I'm alone in that.

I take it back, I see it's much easier than that in Materials. My apologies! And thank you for the advise.

    Hi,

The color is a property of the material and can be chosen using a color picker as before - there is no need for any external program.

That was the fastest demand and withdraw of a feature ever! :)
