    Hi Lasse

Ive finally got some time off the road to update to argo....but just wanted to know if there is any issues transferring polar projects to argo?

Also will polar and argo run at the same machine or will it work as an update and wipe out polar.

My second laptop has a very limited GC and might not be able to run argo, so will I be able to work on projects back and forth between the 2 or will I need to upgrade them both. Will this still be same price?

Can I downgrade to polar in case my 2nd laptop wont run argo?

    Thanks, looking forward to it

    Hi,

The only known issue at the moment is with DMX movers and Water Jets as they need manual replacing with fresh library definitions in Capture Argo.

Also, Capture Argo installs in parallell with Capture Polar, so you will be able to use both on the same machine, but files saved in Capture Argo cannot be opened in Capture Polar.

There is a change in how the colours of forms are handled. Rather than colour the object/form, you need to create a material, colour that, then add the material to the object/form.

When you open a Polar project in Argo, the colours will be automatically converted to materials - they will have generic names, so you might wish to tidy up the naming so it makes more sense. I have found the conversion is mostly successful, but sometimes an object looses it's original colour, becomes white in the process and needs to be recolored with the new material.
