I am needing to purchase a PC that will be dedicated to running Argo. will this system work?

    4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-4790 Processor (Quad Core, 8MB Cache, up to 4.0GHz w/ Turbo Boost)

    AMD Radeon™ R9 270 with 2GB GDDR5

I will purchase this ASAP as soon as I know if it will work. My laptop will not run Argo. Very disappointed because it worked fine with Polar.

Just found out online that it won't ship soon enough for me. So I'm looking again. Can anyone recommend a Dell laptop or desktop that would work?

Looks as if this might work OK for me. Any opinions?

Great if you opt for the GTX 660 graphics card option which has a G3D passmark score of 4116. Minimum for Capture Argo is 2000, although on case by case basis it does run with some of the native INTEL HD graphics chips. I have it running win 8.1 with INTEL graphics HD 4400 and it runs okay with basic visualization, not sure it would hold up very well under more complex simulations.

    Hi,

A top tip - if you can find a store that sells the configuration you're considering and the sales rep is reasonable he/she might allow you to install Capture to evaluate the machine in the store before you purchase.
