    I'm not sure if anyone else has come across this. However I'm currently unable to run Capture Argo on Parallels (current 10.1.1). I'm getting the popup ;

    "Capture is unable to start due limitations in your video card and/or its drivers."

    Tried but with same result on different Win OS (7 Ultimate, 10 tech preview) and on multiple machines (retina macbook pro GeForce GT 650M, Mac pro Radeon HD 5870).

    Any advice much appreciated.

    er, why do you need to run it in Parallels? Why not run the Mac version of the software natively?

    Indeed fine for setup but not always for control.

    I use it so that I can connect Hog PC via HogNet, the same would be true (i believe) for MA Net.

    I see.

    When I first moved to Mac I used Parallels but also set up Windows in Bootcamp (works best if you install Windows in Bootcamp first then install Parallels and point it at the Bootcamp installation). I used Parallels when I wanted to do something quickly on HogPC or MA onPC without having to re-boot but if I wanted to do anything serious I would always switch to Bootcamp. It just works better all round on performance, less network weirdness going on, works better with the Mac hardware, appropriate drivers etc

    Now I mainly use Chamsys so I don't have this issue anymore and haven't tested how it works with Capture, but I would expect that running in Bootcamp would be better for performance reasons alone.

    Hi,

    Parallels desktop for Mac only supports up to OpenGL 2.1, which is why it won't work well.

    Unfortunately both High End and MA don't deliver platform-independent connectivity components, so there is not much we can do.

    Thank you, I thought it may be something like that. However it's good to know the actual reasoning, for those times you don't have a piece of hardware connected that allows unlocking of ArtNET from said soft desks.

    Could you tell me what are the minimum specs that Parallels (as regards OpenGL) needs to run Capture Argo.

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

    I'm not sure what you're after, but the only showstopper that we're aware of is OpenGL where we use functionality up to version 3.1.
