Hi Guys, I've downloaded the argo update. It says that it now allows us to center grouped objects again just like we did before by selecting the group and dialing in 0 in the x field of the groups properties. It seems tho that is is still not working? can you confirm if i'm doing this the right way or have you implemented a new was of achieving this very important function

It is not by dialing in, but just by moving the objects, they will snap to X position 0.

That is good but what I think he is asking about is maybe what if I want to take that Group to 8ft and not 0? Sometimes it's nice to create a group and then center it at an absolute value. To me, it doesn't need to be in the geometry section, I can see how it's very helpful to have each item individually go to that absolute value. But can you make a new way to do what selecting a group of objects and have them do what entering a value in "position" used to do, which was making those objects center on that absolute value as a group and not as individual items.

If he's not asking for that and your answer was correct, that is something I have requested and would really like to see re-implemented.

yes, i try it now, and if you center the group, oll the object in the group go in the center position, not the group.

i use very often the fact we can center a group.

    Hi,

Without actually promising anything, I would like to let you know that we're processing your feedback and taking it into consideration. We are very unlikely to take back the old method, but of course we will make sure that there is a good way of achieving the same results as when you used the old method.

    Hi

is there any chance you could reimplement the old polar system to center objects in x y and z axis

it has become a real pain to now get something symmetrical specially when wanting to clone a group of led screens for example

my only solution now to build up a symmetrical stage is using polar

argo is a great tool but without this old feature almost unusable

please consider this as a very important request

    thanks
