I´m using Capture Argo for a while now, but I come to the Limit of my System very often.

On the actual project I´m working with a lot of LED strips.... But Argo don´t like them.... When turning on these things, I´m ending up with very low fps (5-8fps).

If I take a look on the System state Argo is using 100% power of only one core of my System. Can´t it handle multithreading?

Is there a way how get higher fps, for realtime programming? :-)

    System specs are:
    AMD FX-8350 Eight Core Processor @ 4Ghz
    16GB RAM
    Nividia GTX 760, 4GB
    256GB SSD
    Win7 Pro x64

Since this is a question that pops up every now and then we have now written a page dedicate to this subject which you can find here.

I have the same problem with our blinders and Chauvet ColorBand PIX LED bars. I found the problem is the effect they make through the air. We use ours facing towards the audience for effects, not really lighting things up. In this case, if you change the settings of those lights to not throw light, you still see the effects of the diodes but no performance hit. I do this for all of our LED bars and blinders and rarely have this problem now. Hope this helps!
