new graphic card

    Hey guys,

    i am looking to purchase new hardware and i have some questions about that.

    Which graphic card should i prefer and does capture argo uses CUDA?

    ------> what i thought about is, if its better to use a nvidia quadro card (like most CAD programms prefer) or, for example, a card out of the GTX product-range for gaming stations !?

    btw. you mention the benchmarks from passMark, why specifically this one? ( in most other benchmarks the rank of the geforce gtx 780 ti is behind the gtx 970).

    Hi,

    We generally recommend the regular graphics cards as the Quadro and Cuda systems don't really help Capture's rendering engine.

    We don't really have a specific reason for referring to PassMark's benchmarks - they have a comprehensive list and no benchmark is particularly accurate for Capture anyway.
