    Hi capture users...

    i'm new capture user, i just downloaded the demo to try it...and i got 2 questions

    1. how do i connect my media-server?, i use arkaos

    2. how do i use a y-z mover? please guide me thruogh

    Hi Jacob,

    For media servers, read section 4.12 in the manual. You need to hook up the Capture and ArKaos computers on the same ethernet network and make sure you are running ArKaos in ethernet mode (I believe it listens for ArtNet then).

    For the movers, read section 4.9 in the manual. Patch the mover by using the arrow button as described for the fixtures in section 4.3 in the manual.

    Hi lars when you say ethernet, do you mean artnet? because thats what arkaos runs :-)

    Hi djz2005,

    I'm not sure what I mean to be honest. It at least used to be so that unless ArKaos was controlled by an ethernet protocol (such as ArtNet), it would not connect to Capture (which it does using another ethernet protocol, called CITP).
