I want to create some camera movement in a video I want to export - since I cant move the camera manually while recording a snapshot movie I wanted to try and see if it could be done with it being controlled by a console while recording. I connected my HOG4 and patched the camera. HOG doesnt have a profile for an argo camera so I used desk channels (18 according to the schematic in the manual). When I use the X Fine control it shots my camera way off and I cant ever get it to get back near my stage. I tried to reset the xyz position to zero and use that as a starting point, however when I use the controls it jumps away again.

It is entirely possible I am missing something, but I dont know what.

Ideas on how to properly control a camera movement while snapshoting a movie to show a client??

    Hi,

I patched only the first 10 channels and put the default to 50%. It works fine.

I tried it on a GrandMa 2.But there are limitations, there is no endless rotation/pan/tilt (Better, I don't know how)

    Hi,

If you're patching the Capture camera using dimmer channels on the console, then patch the x/y/z and angle channels as 16-bit dimmers on the coarse/fine channels of the Capture camera. I'm not sure what Johannes means by endless rotation?
