PC for Capture use. What to get spec wise

    Looking at getting a dedicated Capture PC for rendering work and for live programming

    Any advice on what components to look for in designing a PC for capture.

    Obviously a decent graphics card is important but how about everything else? do you need loads or RAM? do you need a quad core processor etc etc

    Any advice would be great.

    At the moment I'm running Capture on a MBP retina and it just doesn't cut the mustard.

    Anything with one of these puppies in it:

    GeForce GTX 980 Ti, GTX Titan, GeForce GTX 980, GTX 780 Ti, High End Radeon just as well

    Good high res monitor 19"/20" or above.

    Core i5/i7, 16 - 32GB RAM, SSD drive

    For sure other options, but this should do it.
