Is there any future development regarding accurate truss blocks? We currently import truss blocks from CAD to match the truss that we use (Chrisite Lites) Although there are Christie Lites truss blocks in the library, they are not accurate due to the way Capture builds and visualizes truss. If we were to provide accurate truss blocks for Capture could they be updated? Or is the system not built to handle the specificity of this request? Having the auto calculation of truss and fixture counts is something that is very helpful for us designers, however the individuals who build these stages require that we have accurate truss in our paperwork...which is understandable. Thanks Guys!

We are aware of this need and it is on our to do list, but unfortunately it is not planned for the next version whenever that might be. Thanks for providing your feedback though, it really matters when we prioritize what we do next.

+1 to accurate representation of truss. It would help a lot to know where the webbing is, not only when building the rig but also at the design stage.

+1 on this. I can import my own cad files if I really need to show something (like vertical towers built out of PRT with open face forward) However, it destroys the ability to create proper gear lists/truss counts and do accurate renders simultaneously.

What would be a really awesome feature is being able to add whatever you needed to a gear count list. Say for instance you do a really complex design with a whole pile of cheeseburoughs and pipe. Being able to call out numbers of CB and quantities of pipe length in the gear report would be amazing. This would also alleviate needing accurate blocks if you could import the actual DWG blocks or SKP files and assign them to show up as a countable item in the gear report.
