I got the problem, that the library files are not activated to import into capture polar.

I've a solution, thanks to Lars for his explanation.

1. Please go to your Hard Disc, right-click on your Library and choose "Get info" (or use the keyboard shortcut as +I).

2. Look the bottom for "Sharing & Permissions" pane and give the admin "Read & Write" option!

hmm. that may work, but its easier to just create the /library/capture polar folder.
Then the app will have no problems to create the library.

just a hotfix for now..

Hi all,

We have just updated the documentation for the next release saying that it's a requirement to have read+write permissions to a /Library/Capture Polar folder. Most users run their Mac as administrators, under which circumstances they should have read+write permissions to the /Library folder.

The next release also writes a Session.log file in the /Library/Capture Polar folder with more detailed information in the event of other issues causing a problem with library updates.
