In Argo when I cloned things via the arrow on screen method (not the clone dialog box) it used to appear centered on where I would drop the arrow.

Now in Atlas it is defaulting to the 0,0,0 position.

This is driving me crazy and making my process very very very slow. How do I change it?

It seems to be a function of the snap features. Which can also be annoying. I Like them for the most part but sometimes I just want to move stuff. How can I disable these?

    Hi,

The quick copy tool as well as any drag and drop operation into a window inserts the new object at the camera's focus position if you are not in a flat view, that is of the kind you're in when you have swung to front/top/section/selection. As long as your view is "flat", you can quick copy and drag and drop to a specific location.

You can hold the Esc key to disable snapping while moving objects.

There must be a bug then.

In playing around with it. It works correctly in the Alpha view but if I do a drag/drop copy in the Beta or Gamma views it will default the coppied object to the origin point.

So anytime I drag/drop copy an item I have to be in the Alpha window or it will auto copy to origin point.

    Hi,

Are all of your views "flat" when you try this, or just the Alpha view?
