Hi Lars
I try to running Capture Polar 2.2.5 Demo on my Mac Book Pro OS X 10.5.8. Design some Objects and add/patch Fixtures without any problems, but when i go to "Live Mode", i can only see a black window without any Objects and Fixtures. On the info Page, all of the Polar graphics test reports are green and "Pass". When i disable "Use Polar graphics", the Live Mode works without problems....
What can i do to use Polar on my Mac? I think it's not a "user problem" because i run the Polar 2.2.5 also on a Windows PC without any Problems.
A second thing, the Polar 2.2.5 OS X version can't find any Hog3 Net on the network. There are no entrys in the "DMX-Universen" Tab. Is it possible to connect the OS X version to a console over Ethernet? Can i download a Visualiser connecting driver for Polar OS X and Hog3 (Hog3 PC on another computer in the network)? Also this connection runs on my Polar Windows Version perfect....
Hope you can help :-)

Hi Markus,
Only Highend's Hog Connectivity Application will allow you to connect a visualiser directly to the "Hognet" network. Like all the Hog software, this is Windows only and won't install on anything else.
To get the connection on your Mac from Hog3PC, you could use USB>DMX. Alternatively, you could run a copy of Windows on your Mac under "Parallels" or "Bootcamp" and install Capture (Windows version) and the Hog Con App on that Windows enviroment (I think - don't have a mac myself!).
Best wishes,
Robert

Hi Markus,
The Hog 3 question has already been answered. Regarding your Mac OS X problems, could you please send me a screenshot and/or the Session.log file (from Macintosh HD/Library/Capture Polar) directly to lars@capturesweden.com please?

I know this thread is old, but what did you do to get it to work?
